Small Group Resources

Here you can find a range of teaching materials available for you and your Small Group at St Mark’s to use. These series and courses are based on a variety of topics including books and themes in the Bible, Christian literature and many more.

HOLY TRINITY BROMPTON
HTB have produced some fantastic resources for use in small groups and share them on their website. Many of these resources can be used straight ‘off the shelf.’ Some may need to be a little tailored by you so that they’re perfect for your group. Don’t miss the ‘In-Depth Resources’ link.

THE BIBLE PROJECT
The Bible Project’s mission is to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus. As well as their videos on different books and themes of the Bible, they also produce some great small group Bible studies.

THE BIBLE SOCIETY
The Bible Society have produced some small group sessions that are suitable for mature Christians as well as those new to the Christian faith. Each session includes video interviews and invites reflection on a passage from the Bible, plus the opportunity to experience a spiritual practice. You’ll need to register to access these free resources.

LICC
The London Institute of Contemporary Christianity (LICC) offer some of their resources free of charge to download. Their studies are designed to equip and inspire small group members in their everyday lives. You’ll need to register to access their resources.

PRAYER COURSE 2
Following the success of the first Prayer Course, in these five sessions Pete Greig goes deeper, provoking honest conversation around the hardest and most personal questions we all ask about prayer.

A RULE OF LIFE
A rule of life is a schedule and set of practices and relational rhythms that help us create space in our busy world for us to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did—to live “to the full” (John 10v10). These resources from John Mark Comer could be used for small group sessions.
