We’re looking forward to celebrating Easter together. We’ve planned a range of events and services to mark the occasion and we’d love to see you there!

Easter Messy Church

Sunday 29th March, 3:00–4:30pm 

A fun, relaxed afternoon for children and families as we journey through the Easter story together in creative ways! There’ll be plenty of hands-on activities, crafts and treats — including biscuit decorating, cross-making, painting eggs, chocolate coins, bracelet-making, plasticine modelling and more — with each activity helping tell part of the Easter story in a simple and engaging way.
Come and enjoy a creative afternoon, meet others, and discover the hope of Easter together.
Free to attend – everyone welcome!

Kingdom Come

Sun 29th March, 6:30pm

An opportunity to enjoy God’s presence together in worship and to pray for God’s kingdom to come. Held in the church.

Maundy Thursday Service & Meal

Thursday 2nd April, 6:30pm

There will be a two course meal and communion service, as we remember together the last supper. The cost is £7.50 (see Ruth for a ticket).

Good Friday All-Age Service

Fri 3rd April, 10:30am

We pause to remember the crucifixion of Jesus. Through worship, scripture, and prayer, we’ll take time to reflect on the depth of his love and the power of the cross. It will be suitable for all ages.

Good Friday Walk & Picnic at Mellor Cross

Fri 3rd April, 1:00pm

Meet at the top of Moor End Road (SK6 5NQ) in Mellor at 1:00pm for a gentle stroll up to Mellor Cross. Don’t forget to bring a picnic too!

Easter Sunday Celebrations

Sun 5th April, 9:00am & 10:30am

Gather with us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ! After the 10:30am service there will be an Easter egg hunt.
